Bourgeois Festival Model 2016 Limited Edition OO and LDBO!

It all started with a picture on the Bourgeois Guitars Facebook page... Flamed Maple with some sort of Mary Kaye finish... Just gorgeous, we knew we had to bring at least one over! Why not two...?!

And we have just taken delivery of these two stunning Bourgeois guitars from our friends out in Lewiston Maine USA! These instruments are exact recreations of a pair of guitars made for the Dixie Chicks 2016 tour and feature beautiful tone woods and amazing inlay work!

The first of these exquisite guitars is a OO model. Comfortable, light weight and amazingly powerful this guitar sounds superb!

The presentation grade fretboard inlay features mother of pearl and abalone in a style reminiscent of the intricate Gibson Century of Progress guitars.

Ivoroid bindings and ebony purflings add to this elegant look with the grain of the Maple showing through the trans-white finish.

The headstock is capped with ivoroid and pearl with ivoroid button Waverly tuners. Smooth and accurate!

The second guitar is a stunning example of the new Bourgeois LDBO model!

Once again, transparent white finish over Flamed Maple - just beautiful.

Just look at that... We love the way the Flamed Maple bridge stands out against the white finish on the Adirondack Spruce top.

The elegant lines of the LDBO headstock picked out in ivoroid and ebony.

This guitar sounds superb, check it out in action below!
