Macmull Guitars Excel in Guitar Magazine Review
We recently had the joy of sending off two of our new Macmull Custom Guitars to the wonderful folks at Guitar Magazine to review and demo, and we are incredibly excited to say that they both came back with glowing reviews!
The guitars in question were our Macmull Diamond Superlight S-Classic in Black coupled with the Macmull Heartbreaker Custom in Royal Orange, a duo we felt reflected the range of variation and core ideals of this bold new brand.
The Heartbreaker Custom came back with an outstanding 9/10, and has since appeared in the magazine's '10 Best Tele Style Electric Guitars' feature at the beginning of the month, described as an "exceedingly well-crafted guitar with style and substance in spades. Combined with bespoke pickups and premium components, the Heartbreaker’s simple array of controls can deliver an extraordinary range of inspiring tones".
The Diamond Superlight S-Classic achieved a stellar 8/10 review and was described as having "the explosive dynamic range, air, depth and complexity of tone that vintage Stratocaster fans crave". With great compliments on the comfort, finishing and general playability of this fantastic instrument.

This gorgeous Heartbreaker Custom in Royal Orange is Macmulls take on one of the most iconic electric guitars in history, albeit in this case with a few twists that make it something very special indeed.
Starting from a traditional foundation the body is made up of a single piece of lovely kiln-dried Alder, hand picked as with all Macmull guitars for its lighter weight and resonance, the idea being that lighter wood sounds better with a sharper attack and dryer, more 'vintage' tone.
This striking Macmull Diamond Superlight S-classic is a fantastic example of the fine work and craftsmanship of Macmull Guitars in Israel.
Featuring all of their finest appointments and design aspects, such as a super lightweight Alder body and Hand Wound RVT Alnico 3 pickups voiced specifically for this guitar, it really is the crowning jewel of the small entourage of Macmulls in our showroom.
If there's any more you'd like to know about Macmull Custom Guitars please don't hesitate to get in touch via email or on the phone, we absolutely love these instruments and are always happy to talk about them!
Better still, come on down to our showroom and plug one in for yourself, they really are worth the journey.
Until then, have a great weekend
