Henderson OM Arrives In Our Pre-Owned Section

Wayne Henderson has an enviable reputation as one of the world's finest luthiers in the traditional vintage Martin style. This reputation was enhanced by the publication of the book "Clapton's Guitar - Watching Wayne Henderson build the perfect instrument " by Allen St John which outlines the decade-long creation of a guitar built by Wayne Henderson for Eric Clapton.

Henderson guitars are extremely rare and valuable and this superb instrument is only the third example of his work that I have ever seen. It is a traditional style OM in Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack spruce from 2006.

As you can see, this guitar follows the traditional Martin Form closely with the addition of some beautiful herringbone purfling.

The back and sides are made from the highest quality Brazilian rosewood. The guitar is in excellent condition with only a little playing wear.

The classic Henderson headstock design.

I am often asked if a modern traditional style build from a sole luthier represents a good investment as opposed to a vintage piece in the same price range. In this case I can say most emphatically yes. This is a truly world class OM. Watch it in action below

We're delighted to offer this beautiful guitar for sale. It really is a joy to have it here and we look forward to showing it to you in person. For more information or to book an appointment please get in touch email address link
