Incoming from Pellerin Guitars

Michel Pellerin perfectly blends the classic and the modern and the expected and the unexpected in his beautifully crafted guitars.
The Québec-based luthier has a background in classical and jazz, and approaches guitar-making with the goal of crafting balanced, well-rounded instruments. It's been nearly a full year since we had our last Pellerin guitar in the shop. Fortunately, that's about to change!
Michel's Grand Auditorium has a 16" wide and 4.5" deep body with a tight waist, giving it a huge voice that possesses the clarity and balance for just about any playing style. Soon we'll be receiving one that features a Manzer wedge for an even more ergonomic playing experience, and Florentine cutaway for full access of the fretboard. And the tonewoods? Sap-lined Mexican cocobolo and private stock salvaged bearclaw Sitka spruce. If woods can be mouth-watering, we think it's safe to say these are!
Between these incredible photos and our experience with his guitars in the past, we are happily awaiting the opportunity to feature another of Michel's guitars in the shop. This cocobolo GA will arrive soon in July 2022; scroll below for the full photo series, specs and pre-order info.
We're also speccing out a 000-sized Folklore model in Pomelle Sapele and 40-year-old German spruce due late 2022/early 2023. Watch for more on that soon!
