Incoming McNally Guitars
Recently Ciaran has moved workshop, to his own, larger space in Armagh, Northern Ireland. But Ciaran is by no means new to the art of Lutherie, having worked and trained with some of the world's most renowned guitar makers, such as Lowden and Atkin Guitars, he's truly a master of the trade!
We're excited to be bringing in some more instruments from Mcnally Guitars, covering a range of the models offered. In the next incoming batch we have a J22, S12 and a P10 model. Ciaran spoke a few thoughts on each of these incoming models, find out more below.

McNally S12 Acoustic Guitar in Mahogany & Sitka Spruce- $3,599
“A classic and very versatile wood combination in a small but powerful package. The short scale and 43mm nut on this one will make it a perfect sofa-song writing companion. Simple wood purfling, bindings and rosette, make for a no frills but elegant, quality instrument. The mahogany really pops and flashes with the gloss finished body, while a satin back of neck keeps it smooth and fast in the left hand.”

McNally J-22 Acoustic Guitar in Walnut & Sitka Spruce- $3,599
“This is a large guitar. When I say Jumbo, I mean Jumbo! With a guitar this size expect a wide reaching sound that envelopes the room. There’ll be more complexity and overtone richness than that of smaller guitars. The attack won’t be as immediate but it will develop richly with naturally reverb in abundance.
Walnut is beautiful wood that provides great clarity, but it also light in weight, so despite it’s size, this is quite a light guitar. Crisp figured maple bindings set against a simple purfling scheme, featuring red bloodwood, really set this one off.”
