Competition Winner Phil Currie
Upon hearing the news, Phil said, “I am absolutely over the moon about winning the Lame Horse LH14 ‘Gillian’ acoustic guitar. I have some nice acoustic guitars in my collection but nothing as amazing as this beauty! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!"
"I am very excited about playing this guitar and I am sure it will inspire me to play and write some great music. I will be more than happy to record a track on this guitar to share with Lame Horse and North American guitar customers and followers."
"Finally, I would like to say a big thank you to Lame Horse Guitars and The North American Guitar for running the competition and for picking me as the winner!”
Phil has been playing both acoustic and electric guitar for 26 years and, having played in bands in his younger years, Phil now focuses on songwriting, recording and production.
"My main influences are Hendrix, Slash, Ritchie Kotzen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Steve Lukather and Joe Bonamassa but I am inspired by many other great guitarists and styles of music. My main styles are alternative rock, rock/metal, blues, funk and atmospheric guitar instrumentals, and you can hear some of my recent work on my Bandcamp page."
Thank you to all of you who entered our competition! Stay tuned for more competitions coming soon!
