NAMM 2018: Lame Horse Debuts New TNAG Build LH14 'Lianne'

NAMM 2018: Lame Horse Debuts New TNAG Build LH14 'Lianne'
We are currently over at the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California, and day one has thrown up some fantastic new guitars!
We are incredibly excited to see the Boutique Guitar Showcase return for a second year, and with it a whole host of our luthiers! We will be reporting on a number of our luthiers' guitars from the show, starting with the premiere of our bespoke-build LH14 'Lianne' from Lame Horse Instruments.

Lame Horse's Chris Jenkins and I have been planning some exciting new custom Lame Horse builds for a few months now and it was great to catch up with him at their booth in the Boutique Guitar Showcase to see 'Lianne' - our stunning LH14 in Cocobolo and Sitka spruce incoming to TNAG very soon!

The Guitar is constructed from an absolutely stunning set of high-grade cocobolo, with a black finished sitka spruce top and ebony fingerboard. The cocobolo is punchy and bright in the trebles mixed with a deep boomy warmth from the low end that I personally feel is such a signature tonal trait of Lame Horse guitars. It is beautifully articulate and doesn't lose any volume when you dig in.

Lame Horse Gutars - Lianne LH14 Cocobolo / Sitka Spruce - £7,550

On asking Chris what players he felt the LH14 was aimed at, his response was 'everybody'! And boy oh boy how right he is...This guitar takes light fingers style beautifully as well as a bluegrass flat picking! A wonderfully versatile guitar with absolutely stunning aesthetics making it one you will be proud to have hanging on your wall.

The rosette on this LH14 is without a doubt one of Lame Horse's best yet. A beautiful 3-dimensional effect made up of Green abalone on the outside, awabi abalone on the inside, all framed in a 3 dimension frame of black lipped pearl.

This guitar is such a show stopper it even caught the attention of Chis Martin of Martin Guitars asking about the X bracing on this guitar!

Well done Chris & Jeremy Jenkins, you have done it again!
