NAMM 2018: Lame Horse Debuts New TNAG Build LH14 'Lianne'
We are currently over at the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California, and day one has thrown up some fantastic new guitars!
We are incredibly excited to see the Boutique Guitar Showcase return for a second year, and with it a whole host of our luthiers! We will be reporting on a number of our luthiers' guitars from the show, starting with the premiere of our bespoke-build LH14 'Lianne' from Lame Horse Instruments.
Lame Horse's Chris Jenkins and I have been planning some exciting new custom Lame Horse builds for a few months now and it was great to catch up with him at their booth in the Boutique Guitar Showcase to see 'Lianne' - our stunning LH14 in Cocobolo and Sitka spruce incoming to TNAG very soon!
The Guitar is constructed from an absolutely stunning set of high-grade cocobolo, with a black finished sitka spruce top and ebony fingerboard. The cocobolo is punchy and bright in the trebles mixed with a deep boomy warmth from the low end that I personally feel is such a signature tonal trait of Lame Horse guitars. It is beautifully articulate and doesn't lose any volume when you dig in.
