Mike Dawes Returns To TNAG!

We recently had a return visit from global finger style sensation Mike Dawes. Mike visited our new UK Showroom and whilst here demoed three of the gorgeous guitars which we currently have in stock, by the names of Turnstone, Wilborn and Greenfield Guitars.

Mike is known widely as one of the world's best modern and creative fingerstyle players, with his modern approach and unique style Mike has been named "Best Acoustic Guitarist in the world right now' in both 2017 & 2018 by Total Guitar Magazine/MusicRadar.

It was a real pleasure to hear Mike's individual and inspired approach draw out a different side to these three guitars with a moving rendition of 'Hurt' by Nine Inch Nails, albeit drawing equally as much from the Johnny Cash cover. Each instrument brings out the nuances in Mike's playing in stunning detail and between them you can feel how the instrument works with the player to coax out different inflections in response to character and tone of the guitar.

We are also very excited to announce that Mike has joined our roster for TNAG Techniques, and we cannot wait to share his lessons with you. For access to the upcoming Techniques from Mike as well as whole host other lessons, be sure to sign up to our Newsletter here.
