Musician Spotlight: Daniel Lavezzo

Sometimes all you have to do to get a gig is walk into a guitar store and play something nice!

That's exactly how Daniel Lavezzo came onto our radar. The Nashville-based guitarist dropped by the shop one day and played a few of our nylon string guitars with the distinctive tone and approach of a trained (and talented) classical guitarist. It was no surprise to find out he has a BM in Classical Guitar Performance, earned under the tutelage of Scott Tennant at The University of Southern California. We knew immediately we'd love to hear all our classical guitars in his hands!

"Uma Valsa e Dois Amores", c. Dilermando Reis, arr. Ivan Paschoito

Sold out

Our collection of nylon string guitars is a diverse cast of crossovers, traditional-style, and modern designs from luthiers like Mark Blanchard, Gallagher Guitar Co., Paul McGill, and Robert O'Brien. For folks who haven't had the chance to play such guitars side by side, it was especially interesting to us have Daniel do comparison videos where he played the same piece on two different guitars.
