NAMM 2018: Taylor Guitars Announces V-Class Bracing

Taylor Guitars V-Class Bracing

Today, at the 2018 Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California, Taylor Guitars has announced its brand new V-Class guitar bracing design.

Billed as 'a game-changing advancement in acoustic guitar sound', Taylor's V-Class bracing transforms the way an acoustic guitar's top vibrates to dramatically improve the sound.

Taylor believe that the traditional X-bracing design offers a trade-off between sustain and volume, with the company's new V-Class solving this tension while also improving the guitar's intonation.

Designed by Taylor Master Designer Andy Powers, V-Class is a revolution in acoustic guitar bracing design that has already been critically acclaimed by artists and press alike.

US country guitarists react to Taylor's new V-Class bracing:

To celebrate the release of V-Class bracing, Taylor has announced a Builder's Edition K14ce with V-Class bracing, featuring Koa back and sides with a torrefied Spruce top. The Guitar Magazine was given an early chance to review the guitar, awarding it a stunning 10/10.
