Our First TLL Guitars Deckard Models Arrive

While we represent a whole host of acoustic and electric luthiers of a variety of ages, it is always incredible to see how young luthiers take the guitar to new levels of invention and innovation. One such luthier is Tobias Lund Lindberg, aka TLL Guitars.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Tobias learnt under the guidance of some of his fellow countrymen, including Lars Rasmussen (who has just joined our roster - find out more here) and Henrik Jansson, before being awarded an apprenticeship with Otto D'Ambrosio in Rhode Island, USA.

Taking influence from 1930s Art Deco, as well as the smooth, minimalist design style that so many Swedish brands in all industries are known for, Tobias settled on a style and got to work building his solid body and archtop designs.

For us, our journey with Tobias started when we first met at the Holy Grail Guitar Show in 2016. We quickly brought in two of his archtop models - The Exam and Clarice, followed in 2017 by our first Marvin solid bodies, which has since led to a number of bespoke builds for our clients.

2018 sees another milestone as we bring in our first Deckard models. These gorgeous instruments feature a semi-hollow Mahogany body with a hand-carved Maple top, and the variation in the two models we've received continue to prove that Tobias's guitar designs are incredible blank canvases for creating custom instruments.
