Scott Walker 13-fret Nick Lucas! (Doesn't he build electrics?)
We have long been huge fans of the work of noted electric guitar luthier Scott Walker, and have been proud to represent his work for several years. What isn't widely known, is that Scott spent many formative years at the Santa Cruz Guitar Company and every so often he builds a small batch of flat top acoustics. We were very lucky to get hold of this stunning 13-fret Nick Lucas!
Just look at that...
Featuring figured mahogany on the back and sides with a Carpathian spruce soundboard this is a wonderful example of the Nick Lucas style instrument at its best. Warm and woody with a sparkle to the top end, this is a superb blues guitar.
Scott has visual style is influenced by art deco and 60's psychedelia with a twist of art nouveau. This is a gorgeous instrument... The appointments from the tortoiseshell (mother of Ray Ban) bindings to the fretboard inlay enhance the elegant looks.
