Stephen Strahm Guitars join The North American Guitar

We are extremely delighted to welcome Stephen Strahm Guitars to The North American Guitar's exclusive roster of world class luthiers. I first met Stephen back in October 2016 at the Santa Barbara Acoustic Instrument Celebration and we got on like a house on fire. Not only is he an absolutely stand up guy, but his guitars are in a class of their own!

Stephen attended the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Phoenix Arizona, where he spent six months building two guitars and completing a repair course. In June of 2000, he returned home to the Bay Area and landed a job working for the Santa Cruz Guitar Company, after which he met the one and only Jeff Traugott to finally hone his craft. Later he worked for our good friend Rick Turner doing various aspects of production work and final assembly.

" Builders like Stephen are a hidden jewel in the heavily populated world of guitar makers. His attention to detail in all aspects of our craft is second to none! Do yourself a favour, check out his guitars, you will be greatly surprised!"

- Jeff Traugott, Guitar Maker, Jeff Traugott Guitars.

We currently have two of Stephen's guitars in production and cannot wait to get them into our London showroom by the end of the year.
