Talking Guitar

Talking Guitar: Kim Sherman of TNAG Nashville

It only seemed right that the first TNAG Nashville 'Talking Guitar' episode was with our wonderful friend and Managing Partner of The North American Guitar Nashville, Kim Sherman. One of the most inspiring people I have had the pleasure of working alongside, we talk about her love of music, how she got into the business and of course how TNAG Nashville was born...

Kim has been playing guitar since she was 13 and writing songs since she was 16. She grew up on a western Kentucky farm and came to Nashville to be a songwriter. She studied guitar, English Literature, and history at Belmont University, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and History. After working for some time in the music and book industries, Kim found herself ‘on the other side of the counter’ at Cotten Music where she had years to work on moving from full introvert to partial extrovert.

Co-owner of the shop for the past twenty-three years, and now Managing Partner at The North American Guitar Nashville, Kim loves her work of matching her customers with instruments that suit them best.

We hope you enjoy this interview between Kim and I as much as we did filming it...

Have a wonderful weekend and if you have any questions about any of stunning guitars in our Nashville store please do not hesitate to get in touch with Kim on or call +1 615-383-8947.

Have a wonderful weekend and remember to play lots of guitar...
