Tom Sands- Build Thread: Model S in Spalted Maple & Redwood
We're excited to be able to take you through the process of another TNAG Bespoke Order on the bench at Tom Sands HQ, Yorkshire.
As always, many thanks to Tom and Daisy for their beautiful, in depth documentation of their Lutherie process. This time round the guitar in question is a Tom Sands Model S in Spalted Maple and Redwood, a bespoke order from a TNAG Customer.
The Model S is the smallest model offered by Tom Sands guitar, with a 24.75" scale length, 19" long in the body and a lower bout width of 14.25". The Model S is incredibly comfortably and ergonomic and the smaller size does not compromise the volume of this instrument. It sports a warm base, maintains huge projection and is incredibly powerful for it's reduced size.
