Bigfoot Guitars was started by Karan Singh, a professional Luthier based in Goa, India. Karan has spent several years developing his own unique sound and design aesthetics, and is focused on building the finest quality guitars possible.
He has studied under Master Luthier Jason Kostal, and follows his voicing techniques. Karan’s guitars are built to be as light and responsive as possible, keeping the contemporary fingerstyle player in mind. They offer a powerful bass response, along with a balanced mid range and fat trebles. You can expect to hear a lot of harmonic overtones and sustain with the lightest touch.

“Tone and playability are complimented by unique and elegant aesthetics, which also add a little flavour of India”
Karan has spent the past decade experimenting with several species of non-traditional tonewoods, and is known for his ability to successfully incorporate them into the world of lutherie.
TNAG is one of the premier institutions with respect to all things guitar related. They take pride in representing the top luthiers from around the world, and do an incredible job in showcasing their work. I am excited to partner with them, and bring my work to other countries.
The Guitars
Bigfoot guitars currently offer a Mod-D and OM model. Find out more about these below...
Models
Mod-D
The Mod D (Modified Dreadnought) is a scaled down version of the traditional Dreadnought shape, with a couple of changes to make it comfortable to play in a seated position.
Karan's notes
It has been designed to be a fingerstyle player’s dream, offering an immense low end, with very, very fat trebles. It offers a 12th Fret neck join, which changes the position of the bridge, placing it in the centre of the vibrating surface of the soundboard.

OM
The OM is arguably the most popular body shape as far as steel string guitars go. The tighter waist and flowing curves enable this guitar to be played comfortably sitting down or standing up.
