Isaac Jang is a guitar maker based in Los Angeles, California. He was born in South Korea and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Upon graduating Galloup School of Lutherie in 2007, Isaac started an apprenticeship with his most admirable mentor, Kathy Wingert. Along with his apprenticeship, Isaac also repaired, and restored many types of stringed instruments under Fred Walecki at Westwood Music.

Isaac currently builds a very limited number of instruments every year. He focuses on tone, aesthetic and playability. He is interested in creating an instrument that connects with a player, and that becomes his or her's new 'go-to' guitar!

“ My objective as a guitar maker is that I pour all my capability to bring wood to music”

It has been an exciting journey working with Ben, and The North American Guitar team. They are always pushing their own limits to showcase what each instrument is capable of, and capture pictures that best represent them.  I am honored to be represented by TNAG.
