Grit Laskin wears many hats. His primary one is that of guitarmaker, a profession he has pursued since 1971. His steel-string, classical and flamenco guitars are known and coveted by artists and enthusiasts around the world.
Not only is Grit known globally for his lutherie talents, but he has also won many awards, including Canada’s prestigious Saidye Bronfman Award For Excellence. Alongside this he is a keen musician, co-founder of the Association of Stringed Instrument Artisans and founder of Borealis Records.

“The challenge of getting music out of a wooden box—sound that moves human emotions—is never-ending, and never stops being exciting”
I am delighted to be working with Ben and crew at TNAG. They offer players a chance to see and try some of the finest guitars being made today—they scour the luthier world and proactively seek out the very best talent. There is nothing else like it anywhere in the UK--and now even in Nashville!
