Donal McGreevy is an Irish luthier based in Downpatrick, County Down. He established Donal McGreevy Guitars in 2011 whilst studying at the Lagan Lutherie School under the expert tutelage of Sam Irwin. 

Now a full time luthier, he makes around 12 guitars each year for clients all around the world. His work is characterised by clean lines, articulate tones and an exceptional response and playability. 

The two models in his range are instantly recognisable for their elegant design and intricate detail. 

A self taught guitar player, Donal comes from a long line of Irish traditional musicians and craftsmen which inspired his passion for lutherie.

Model 1

The ultimate mid-sized guitar, Donal's 14-fret Model 1 is a little larger and deeper than a standard OM for the perfect combination of balance and dynamic range.

Scaled down from his Model 1, Donal's 13-fret Model 2 is somewhat akin to a 00, but with a distinctly modern look and tone.
