  • The North American Guitar—home of the world’s finest guitars—is looking to expand its team in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, with an awesome videographer capable of creating both long- and short-form cutting-edge films that show our passion and knowledge of acoustic and electric guitars.
This role is a critical part of the marketing team, sitting at the heart of everything we do. Content is one of the most important ways we market our stock and high-quality video that reflects the tone and values of The North American Guitar is our biggest engagement driver.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, private equity-backed, online guitar retailer and have autonomy to create short-from demos of all our stock, travel across North American to create feature documentaries with our luthiers, ideate and execute compelling social content, and film interviews / sessions with the most notable players on the planet.

You’ll work directly with our Content Manager in our Nashville showroom, owning all pre- and post-production. You’ll build a video content calendar with the sales and marketing team and ensure that every day we have new video content being published to engage, educate, and entertain. You’ll also be expected to lend a hand with still product photography alongside the rest of the team.

We have amazing players in house—we need the amazing videographer.

    Requirements:

    • Take briefs from team members for content and marketing campaigns.
    • Run the video output calendar and organize people, product, and processes.
    • Manage all pre- and post-production exclusively.
    • Shoot still product as well as video.
    • Bring new ideas to the marketing table to explore and push boundaries of content.
    • Edit podcasts where needed to supplement the content calendar.
    • Be the guardian of quality across all video output.
    • Ensure tone and values of The North American Guitar is represented at all touch points.
    • Manage audio recording and editing for all video content.

    Skills and qualifications:

    • Demonstrable experience as a content creator and videographer.
    • Working knowledge of all software, tools, and technologies in order to excel in both pre- and post-production.
    • Strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task and report on various different assignments and workloads.
    • A high level of computer literacy, especially MS Outlook and Excel.
    • Passionate and hardworking team player.
    • High attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization ability.
    • Experience capturing and editing audio.
    • Most importantly: a great creative with big ideas and the ability to execute on them.
