Exchange Sell From Home: Shipping Policy

PEACE OF MIND FOR BOTH BUYER & SELLER

The Exchange Sell From Home service allows sellers to list their guitars for sale on the TNAG website without having to physically send their guitar to our US or UK hubs, but one of the stumbling blocks that private sellers often encounter is the shipping process once their guitar has sold.

The good news is that, by selling your guitar using Exchange Sell From Home, we assist with the shipping process every step of the way to give peace of mind to both the seller and the buyer.

PACKAGING

We ensure that the seller has the correct packaging materials to prepare the guitar to be shipped safely anywhere in the world.

SHIPPING RATES & INSURANCE

We offer competitive shipping rates, all fully insured, for any guitar to be shipped to a buyer wherever they are located. Because we are arranging the shipping of the instrument, the seller doesn’t need to be concerned by finding a reliable courier, and neither the buyer nor the seller need to worry about arranging insurance for the shipment while in transit.

IMPORT FEES & TAXES

We charge the buyer any relevant import fees and local taxes before the seller ships their guitar and our shipping couriers pass these directly onto the buyer’s local customs authority so that the buyer isn’t faced with any surprise fees to get the guitar delivered to their door, and avoiding any unnecessary delays to the guitar being delivered.

TRACKING INFORMATION & DEDICATED CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM

Both buyer and seller will be provided with tracking information to track the shipment while it is in transit, and our dedicated customer service team will be on hand to provide any assistance in the smooth transit of the guitar from buyer to seller.

72-HOUR APPRAISAL PERIOD

As with all guitars purchased through The North American Guitar, the buyer has 72-hours to ensure that the instrument is right for them. If within the 72-hour appraisal period the buyer decides that they wish to return the guitar to the seller, we are on hand to assist with organising the return shipment to get the guitar back to the seller quickly and safely. The cost of the return shipment is to be covered by the buyer.
