Details

A truly unique guitar built by master luthier Andy Manson, the Bluebird is a distinctive instrument in both tone and appearance. The shape of the Bluebird was initially spawned out of a request from Jimmy Page to make an acoustic with a Tele like cutaway and playability. Thus, the 15-fret Bluebird was born. Constructed with a European Spruce top and Ancient Yew back and sides, this finely crafted instrument sings with a big, wide-open voice that is truly remarkable. A lesser-known tonewood, Ancient Yew imparts a woody, springy quality, with sweet appealing overtones, while retaining the clarity of Maple. The build quality of the Bluebird is nothing short of immaculate, with its Birdseye Maple body binding and rosette, Austrian Myrtle peghead veneer, and ornate Madrone bridge and fretboard, the Andy Manson Bluebird is sure to captivate the eyes and ears of anyone fortunate enough to cross its path.
