Details

Ted Åstrand's tireless devotion to his craft (approximately 200 hours are spent on each guitar) is evident at first glance, and first strum. He says of his OM design:

"The Å-OM is my interpretation of the perfect midsize guitar. It has a lower bout width of 385mm, slightly larger than a standard OM and a smaller upper bout for better balance and comfort. It is built for maximum responsiveness and is a great fingerstyle guitar."

On this model, he's used a gorgeous set of cocobolo, beloved for providing lush sustain, singing highs and rich bass. He matched it with his favorite top wood, European moon spruce, to ensure clarity and warmth. The scale length is a little shy of full at 25", adding just a bit of that slinkier string feel, and a soundport on the upper bout allows the player to better hear themselves. Everything is tied together by Ted's Scandinavian aesthetic touches, with clean lines and natural curves that result in a cohesive elegance.

Condition on this pre-owned 2016 model is excellent, and comes with its original Hiscox hard case.
