Details

The story of the Little Sister began from the puzzling question of how the early delta bluesmen were able to fascinate a listener with only one guitar and their simple, yet soulful vocal lines. Understanding that these players' fat and throaty guitar tones often came from playing small-body parlor guitars, B&G decided to uncover the secret of these instruments and embark on a journey back to the crossroads. B&G wanted to create an instrument that would be versatile enough for players who use a pick, and for players who are fingerstylists. Gimmick-free and versatile, it's also lightweight and comfortable. Only sixteen of these special Private Build Little Sisters are built each month, ensuring quality and attention to detail. This particular example has an incredibly figured maple top that looks positively 3-dimensional in person, with playability to match. The neck is incredibly comfortable and the fretwork impeccable-- this one practically begs to be played. Plugged in, the Little Sister is an incredibly versatile axe, as at home in clean settings as it is with the gain cranked.
