Details

Inspired by Mike Baranik’s love for old school surf rock music, and the quirky vintage guitars that are synonymous with it, the Baranik B1 is a modern take on these retro wonders. Baranik took all of the aspects that he loved about these vintage instruments and produced a guitar that meets the needs of a modern player. The Basswood body and Maple neck are met with a completely unique headstock design that utilizes a reverse headstock string pull. This design increases the tension on the bass strings while lowering the tension on the treble strings, producing more defined lows and higher strings that are easier to bend. This is complemented by the psychedelic Mojo Holofoil pickups. With its Boomerang Baby finish, Duesenberg Trem, slim C neck, and 14” radius, this Baranik B1 effortlessly captures the funky, retro vibe of the ’60s while providing a player with modern enhancements and reliability.
