"This OM is articulate with a quick response and a richer timbre than you would expect from a maple guitar." - Michael Bashkin
Colorado-based luthier Michael Bashkin comes to guitar-building with a unique backstory and education. Not only an artist and musician, Michael pursued graduate studies where he learned the mechanics of wood, as well as about trees and how they're responding to climate change. All this, and time spent studying with Ervin Somogyi, he brings to his craft. This OM with European flamed maple and Carpathian spruce is a beautiful example of Michael's work. The OM is an ideal choice for recording and performing in a variety of settings, and this one has a voice all its own. Sweetly clean in the highs and yet powerful and smooth in the lows, it's an excellent instrument for the fingerstyle and alternate tuning player.
This 2018 Bashkin OM is in excellent condition, and comes with a custom Calton case.
