Details

This Beauregard OM Cutaway is our first new guitar to arrive from Quebec, Canada-based luthier, and former Ervin Somogyi apprentice, Mario Beauregard.

This stunning OM guitar features a premium set of the world’s rarest tonewood, ‘The Tree’ Mahogany, for its back and sides along with a sumptuous Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top.

The Mahogany neck is topped with an Ebony fingerboard and headstock front veneer, while the headstock also has an extremely figured Mahogany back veneer.

The body has a stunning arm bevel, beveled Florentine cutaway and an Ebony bridge.

This guitar really must be experienced in person. The quality of The Tree Mahogany is evident in the photos, with its sharp vein-like lines and the depth of its figuring. An incredibly articulate and sophisticated sound, this OM gives you versatility, power and a dynamic range that will bring tears to your eyes. This set of 'The Tree' is one of the finest we have come across and tonally it is deep warm with thick lush overtones. A stunningly well balanced guitar.

Luthier

Beauregard Guitars

Mario Beauregard's luthier journey started in the 1990s, when a grant from The Art Council of Quebec enabled him to attend the Roberto-Venn School of Lutherie where he met Ervin Somogyi in one of his master classes. He was then invited to study with Ervin, which represented a turning point in his career.
