Beauregard OMC Acoustic Guitar, African Blackwood & Cedar - Pre-Owned
This 2011 OMC from Mario Beauregard is a gorgeous, elegant acoustic guitar, featuring superb African Blackwood back and sides and a Cedar top. Mario Beauregard was the first Ervin Somogyi apprentice, which can definitely be seen through his clean, stunning and eye catching work.
The Bass notes have a clean, refined edge whilst sporting lively, balanced mids. The perfect guitar for the fingerstyle player, in need of clear, ringing notes across the fretboard. The combination of African Blackwood and cedar, alongside Mario's ability to voice a guitar, produces complex overtones yet precise projection.
This guitar had some minor work done to the sound hole as it was damaged in transit. It has been fully repaired and serviced by master technician Kenji Okumura.
