“Some players plug in regularly, some plug in occasionally, and others not at all. To accommodate the widest variety of player preference we’ve designed an out-of sight, out-of mind pickup installation that facilitates the plugged-in option when you need it and only when you need it. And the best part: Plugged in, it sounds recognizably and refreshingly like its acoustic self.” - Dana Bourgeois

With their Generation series, Bourgeois have crafted a reliable workhorse guitar with the gigging musician in mind. With a gorgeous Aged Tone (torrefied) Sitka spruce top and a set of Indian rosewood for the back and sides, these standardized specs put you right in the mindset of a truly inspiring vintage dreadnought, with warm mids and a wealth of excitable activity in the lows, and crystal clear separation in the upper frequencies. The playability is, as one would expect from a Bourgeois, absolutely stellar, with full-bodied character to each note all the way through the guitars range. A truly inspiring yet straightforward classic, outfitted with an LR Baggs pickup.
