Dana Bourgeois' OMC, or Soloist model, came about in response to Eric Schoenberg' desire for an OM with a "soft, minimalist cutaway", and was later manufactured in partnership with Martin as the first Schoenberg Soloist, the first cutaway guitar to come out of the Nazareth workshop. It's thanks to their combined efforts and vision that the OM has resurged in popularity. This 2004 OMC is a true "modern classic", with classic Indian rosewood for a well-rounded, balanced voice that has a full bass and bright, sweet highs. An Engelmann spruce top makes it especially suitable for fingerstyle. It responds lightning fast, giving you a sense of full volume and power even with a light touch. Overall condition is excellent; a couple stray marks in the finish catch a close eye, but the frets show no wear and its set-up is great.
