Why not spread the cost?

This Bourgeois OMSC Custom is an undeniably special offering from master luthier Dana Bourgeois. Its “Aged Tone” Adirondack Spruce top and quarter-sawn Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, matched 12-fret design give the OMSC the rich tone and voice of a vintage guitar. Bourgeois’ aged tone tops are thermally cured in an oxygen-free kiln until the cellular structure of the wood fibers resemble that of a 60 year old guitar. This stabilizes the wood, making it less susceptible to fluctuations in humidity, and gives it a warm, loud, and responsive tone reminiscent of the beloved OM’s of the past. These attributes, combined with its Herringbone purfling, Zig Zag backstrip, Ivoroid body binding, and Mahogany neck, make this Bourgeois OMSC Custom the perfect blend of modern innovation and craftsmanship, mixed with vintage aesthetics, design, and tone.
