Details
North Carolina luthier Caleb Smith is a selective builder, crafting only dreadnoughts and OMs and replicating the techniques of the 1930s and 1940s as perfectly as possible. Utilizing the finest tonewoods available and constructing all of his guitars with hot hide glue, he captures the essence of those Golden Era instruments in his modern guitar.
This "Cruiser" model is a scaled down dreadnought, perfect for anyone who loves the inimitable sound of the flatpicking workhorse but prefers a smaller body size. With a 15" lower bout and 25" scale length, it's comfortable and responsive. But it still has much of the power and dynamic range of a full size dread, no doubt thanks to the Adirondack spruce top and old-growth Brazilian rosewood back and sides. As you might expect from a short scale guitar, though, it also works well for fingerpicking, making for a fantastically versatile instrument.
Condition of this pre-owned Caleb Smith is excellent, with little to no fret wear, no cosmetic issues to note, and a great set-up. It comes in a Hoffee hard case.
