Details
A true master of recreating the magic of Golden Era guitars, John Slobod of Circa makes a fine 12-fret 00. Classic in shape, feel and 28-style appointments, it has cocobolo in place of Brazilian rosewood. The tone is a little dark and bass-rich, with warmth, depth, and excellent sustain. The mahogany neck has a volute and a slight V profile near nut that flattens out to a low oval.
You can tell this guitar has been frequently played over its life, with light, consistent pick wear beneath the strings. But it was well taken care of, with only a couple minor finish dings, and no fret wear.
