This 2013 Claxton Malabar is a beautiful example of Ed's work. A fantastic fingerstyle guitar here's what Ed Claxton himself has to say about this model. "Inspired by the series of infamous schooner yachts designed by John Alden in the 1920's, the "Malabar" is a 12-fret acoustic guitar (in this case it's a 13 fretter) with the bridge centrally located in the "Sweet Spot" of the lower bout, resulting in its beautifully seductive tonality."
