Details

"The sweet spot between small and mid-sized instruments", Collings 001 is a beautifully lightweight, short scale guitar with a character all its own. The addition of the Traditional Series build specs, which combine a variety of vintage-inspired elements like a more rounded neck profile, pre-war scalloped X bracing, and an ultra thin, satin finish, bring out a strong fundamental tonality and dry articulation, with a warmer high-end response. The Collings 001-T is an exceptionally versatile instrument that excels in a variety of playing styles. It's a great counterpoint for flatpicking to a big rosewood dread, and beautifully suited to folky fingerpicking, too.
