Affectionately named after the beloved Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, the Collings Winfield takes their standard dreadnought and highly modifies it to suit the needs and desires commonly requested by flatpicking specialists. This bluegrass powerhouse boasts Indian rosewood back and sides and an Adirondack spruce top. These hand-voiced tonewoods, matched with its enlarged soundhole and pre-war bracing pattern, give this dreadnought plenty of headroom and projection, even when played aggressively, while never sacrificing tone. Its hand-sanded nitrocellulose lacquer finish complements these tonal characteristics by allowing the guitar to breathe and reach its full tonal potential. These features, paired with its vintage inspired appointments, make the Collings Winfield an obvious choice for bluegrass professionals looking to cut through the mix.

This pre-owned model has some honest wear, such as a couple dings on the top and some swirling on the back, putting it into very good status.
