Collings D2H Acoustic Guitar, East Indian Rosewood & Sitka Spruce

The Collings D2H takes one of the most popular and timeless acoustic guitar bodies and introduces a new tonal clarity to the warmth and depth that these deep-bodied, 14-fret dreads are known for. Its Sitka Spruce top, matched with its East Indian Rosewood back and sides, creates an instrument that has defined and warm low end, and crisp top end clarity that sticks out, especially in the company of louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles. Each top is hand-selected and evaluated for density and rigidity, then graduated to its own unique thickness. Each instrument is meticulously hand-sanded to achieve a nitrocellulose finish that measures between .005” and .007” in thickness. This maximizes the tonal potential of each top, as well as acoustic response. These features, paired with its Modified V Honduran Mahogany neck, Ebony fretboard and bridge, Herringbone purfling, and pre-war scalloped x-bracing make this Collings D2H perfect for strummers, singer-songwriters, and bluegrass players alike.
