Details
For players who love the reliability and playability of modern instruments, but long for the character and tone of vintage pre-war guitars, Bill Collings and his team answered the call in 2017 with the launch of their Traditional Series. With an even thinner finish, no tongue brace, a rounded Traditional neck profile, and vintage-inspired voicing and construction system, the T-Series guitars have a warmer, more rounded tone, with an articulate midrange, and a quickly responsive voice. The Sitka spruce top sports a slight amber hue, and the Indian rosewood back and sides are straight-grained and even. You don't have to be a bluegrass flatpicker to appreciate the rumbling bass and crisp trebles of this powerhouse dreadnought. But one strum, and you'll hear why these beloved guitars are the go-to for so many. This pre-owned 2017 model comes with the coveted Collings custom vintage case, and is in overall very good condition aside from a cosmetic dent on the back and some stray pick marks.
