Built in 2016, this lovely Traditional-series OM-1 features a baked Sitka top with no pickguard, light nitrocellulose finish, and animal-protein glue for the build. The tonewoods and bracing are adjusted for the light build, and they present warm round trebles, strong mids, and an extremely responsive tone overall.
This particular guitar was built when Collings was still offering its hand-made case as part of the Traditional package, so the person who makes this guitar his or her own will be happy to know the Collings handmade case is included in the price.
The former owner has rounded the edges of the peghead just a bit, so do know that if you purchase this guitar. If we didn't tell you, you might not even notice, but tell you we must, so please factor this into your decision on whether to buy.
There's a lovely tortoiseshell color strap button installed on the underside of the neck heel.
The guitar is wonderful sounding and has only the slightest signs of use. If you need or want more info, please call or email us and we'll give you an in-hand description of this wonderful OM-1T. This guitar comes with the Collings Traditional (Not TKL) hardshell case.
