Collings OM-1A SB, Mahogany & Adirondack Spruce - Pre-Owned

Why not spread the cost?

This Collings OM-1A SB takes the coveted OM body shape and upgrades it with a beautifully sun bursted Adirondack Spruce top. Adirondack Spruce, harvested in the hills of Upstate New York, was the main tone wood for most acoustic guitar tops prior to World War II. Being an extremely strong and stiff wood, Adirondack Spruce is even more dynamic than Sitka, and creates a higher ceiling for volume without sacrificing clarity. Paired with a Mahogany back and sides, as well as Collings’ hand-sanded nitrocellulose lacquer, this Collings OM-1A SB has a balanced tone and an immediate response that is suited for any variety of flatpicking or fingerstyle playing.
