Details
It's no wonder you find the versatile Collings OM in the hands of a diverse array of players. Mahogany's mid-range focus and warmth is well-suited to the slighter build of the OM, while the upgraded Adirondack spruce top - prized for its stiffness and bite compared to Sitka - gives this model a major boost in dynamic range. If ever there were an OM that could compete with the mighty dreadnought for acoustic presence in a bluegrass jam, the Collings OM1 A would be it. In short, this is an OM that you can seriously dig into, that still has the responsiveness and sensitivity needed for fingerpicking. This 2012 model sports a 000-style Dalmatian pickguard, giving it a subtly unique look. The condition is excellent, and it has the resonance and responsiveness of a lovingly played-in guitar.
