The HTL ("Homage to Leo") is a total throwback to the heyday of '50s guitar-making but with some modern upgrades and the massive benefits of CP Thornton's attention to detail, fit, and finish. This S-style ripper is  made from a piece of incredibly lightweight, resonant, and heavy-grained swamp ash, matched with a beautiful figured torrefied hard-rock maple neck. The package comes together to create of the best playing and sounding "50s style" S-type guitars you'll ever put your hands on, with the Harmonic Design Vintage Strat Plus pickup set providing all the punch and twang you'd expect from a hot '50s Strat set but with a nice bit of added punch in the bridge. This HTL is simply a thoroughbred '50s S-style that is begging to be plugged in and turned up.
