This magnificent Telecaster is a fantastic example of the array of custom order appointments available from Fender in 1971. Featuring a Custom Colour Lake Placid Blue finish, Factory Bigsby and Rosewood fretboard this rare bird not only looks incredible but has a deeply versatile range and killer tones.
Having had a pro re-fret, the guitar plays incredibly smooth and clean all the way through the exceptionally comfortable Maple neck, which has a fantastic profile that treads the line between slim and something a touch more substantial.
Tonally the guitar oozes classic telecaster, with plenty of spank and twang in the bridge and bell like chime and clarity in the original neck pickup. The iconic versatility of the telecaster is only furthered by the addition of a Bigsby, which operates beautifully and maintains great tuning stability.
The guitar has been well loved, and features stunning authentic wear and cracking in the finish the likes of which a 'relic' guitar can never quite nail, with everything working as it should. A truly inspiring instrument, complete with it's original Hardcase.
