Details

The Fortenbery Genesis D is loaded with the punch and power you’d expect from a D style guitar, while providing immense depth and clarity due to its expanded lower bout width. Its Cocobolo back and sides give this guitar presence, note separation, and a true high end shimmer.   As Jeff Fortenbery states, this guitar has “all the bang, without the boom”.  With its 13 fret construction, elegant arm relief radius, and slim C neck profile, this guitar provides and enhanced level of player comfort. Jeff’s one man operation assures that no two guitars are alike, and each instrument that leaves his shop is uniquely customized, and built to his high standard of quality. This Genesis model represents Fortenbery’s attention to detail, with its custom Trinity Knot style inlays, and Spalted Maple rosette. All in all, this Fortenbery Genesis D guitar is a one of a kind large body instrument with a pristine tone that is hard to find.
