Details

To celebrate 50 years of guitar making, Michael Millard and the Froggy Bottom team made a special batch of 50th Anniversary guitars in 2020. Each one was custom built for each client in the model of their choice, with personalized details like hand-engraved heelcaps from artist Petria Mitchell, and made of 5A grade rosewood and master-grade spruce.

This M model, number 5 of 18, is a full-bodied mid-size guitar with a curvaceous shape, perfect for any fans of OMs and Grand Concerts. The spruce top is one of Michael's last 1876-vintage German sets, and it is matched with uniquely gorgeous Brazilian rosewood. The tone is delectably balanced and warm; intimate, but with a restrained power that can be unleashed when needed. Each sweet note decays and lingers just as long as it should. It's a perfect guitar for fingerpickers and light strummers, with an excellent set-up, no issues to note, a freshly installed K&K Pure Mini pickup and strap pin, and just a little light pick wear by the soundhole.

This is one of the last guitars that Michael Millard helped craft while at Froggy, so it's a special opportunity to play one built by the master himself!
