Thoughtfully crafted in Vermont, this Froggy Bottom Model M Deluxe offers all of the craftsmanship one can expect from Michael Millard’s Froggy Bottom Guitars. Spawning from humble beginnings in his Lower East Side NYC apartment in 1970, Millard has continuously honed his craft over the past 50 years. Through decades of working directly with musicians to meet their needs and materialize their dream guitars, Millard has developed a style all his own, which is most notable in his incomparable bracing techniques.  The Froggy Bottom trademark of high, thin, and highly arched back braces, produces two lively and active plates for the instruments, giving Froggy Bottom Guitars unparalleled resonance, volume, and sustain.

This Model M’s Grand Concert design allows for a comfortable body construction, while still providing larger-than-life projection with its narrow waist and enlarged lower bout. Its timeless combination of Mahogany and Spruce allows for a tone that hearkens back to the pre-war forefathers of the acoustic guitar, while still providing a modern tonality and playability. It’s ergonomic “C” neck profile, 1 3/4” nut width, and incomparably smooth fretboard feel creates an irresistible playing experience for fingerstyle players and flatpickers alike. It may not be hard to find a Grand Concert style acoustic guitar in Spruce and Mahogany, but you’d be hard-pressed to find one that comes close to the 50 years of craftsmanship behind this Froggy Bottom Model M.
