Traditional-inspired guitars are all the rage, and here Furch have joined the fray with their Vintage 2 series, combining their excellent modern craftsmanship with old school tone and style. Solid Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood provide big, lush tone players want from a dreadnought-style body, and finishing touches like the faux ivory binding, herringbone purfling, and abalone rosette add flair while keeping with the vintage vibe. From Furch: "The Vintage 2 is protected by Vintage Hand-Brushed Finish, which is applied using the same technology and provides the benefits of UV coating as our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish. Thanks to hand buffing, the guitar has a pleasing patina reminiscent of traditional instruments."

Furch Guitars

The Furch Guitars story began a long time before the company was officially established. In the 1970s, Frantisek Furch, a metalworker by day and a musician by night, faced the dilemma of complete unavailability of high-quality musical instruments in the then socialist Czechoslovakia.
