Details

This pre-war Gibson L-00 is a real player's delight. It packs a wealth of classic, coveted vintage Gibson tone into its small frame. The entirety of the guitar has developed a well-worn corduroy finish over its near 90 years, and to say the guitar has opened up would be a real understatement. The overall tone is dry and punchy, with enough balance and sustain to confidently sit in a wide range of playing styles, from fingers to flatpick. The action might be a little high to some, but for players who spend the majority of their time in first position, it's plenty comfortable to play.

The kerfing inside this 1933 L-00 is solid, not split. Judging by sight, the top may be a three-piece top rather than two. The ebony nut is likely original, but a few replacements have been made over the years. All braces except for one on both top and back have been replaced, the bridge and bridge plate have both been replaced, and more recent Golden Age tuners are currently on the guitar (the originals are in the case). Reach out for further in-hand description!

The original chipboard case, in fair condition, is included, along with a newer Collings TKL case.
