Gibson 1955 ES-175 Electric Guitar, Natural Finish - Pre-Owned

Why not spread the cost?

The Gibson ES-175 was originally introduced in 1949 as an alternative to Gibson’s L-5 model, and an electric version of their L-4. The ES-175 was designed to be a mid-level laminate-top offering amongst their archtop selections. Over this model’s 70 year history, examples such as this single pickup 1955 ES-175 have become some of the most revered Hollowbody guitars to date.

With all original components, this natural finish vintage 175 is in authentic condition. The maple construction gives this guitar a rich acoustical resonance, and its single P90 Dog Ear pickup in the neck position captures a round full bodied tone with poignant mid range, making it an idealistic guitar for Jazz, R&B, Blues and beyond. This guitar is in incredible shape for its age; only showing minimal signs of wear.  This Gibson ES-175 from 1955 is an incredible piece of Hollowbody history, and has an incredibly smooth playability that can only be found within an authentic vintage Gibson guitar.
