Between 1962 and 1970, Gibson made nearly 34,000 of these small-bodied, slim-necked B-25s. Its popularity bears out to this day, as it's a clear favorite among staff. The tone of this 00-range mahogany and Sitka guitar is rather boxy and midrange-focused, but in that delightful way that only a vintage Gibson can be. The ultra-slim neck is rounded all the way up, and the nut clocks in at just 1-9/16", so this is sure to appeal to electric guitarists. This B-25 is in excellent shape given the age—finish crazing and a few dings and chipping along the binding in a couple spots give it a nice patina, but it's otherwise structurally sound.

This guitar is currently at Carter Vintage.
